Up to today I already managed to drive with my bike on 5 different tours through 10 countries and 2 continets, covering approximately 10200 Kilometers. On those trips I have made many nice but also bad experiences, that could have been easily avoided. Because of that I want to give you some tips for your bike trip.
1. If it´s your first international trip, please just don´t worry too much about all those things
that maybe could go wrong. Because I can tell you, things probably will go wrong, but don´t
let your worries ruin your anticipation.
2. You´ll maybe feel, like you have forgotten to plan or to organize something, but you can be
sure, many problems and unorganized parts of you trip, will solve itself on the asphalt.

3. Don´t take too much unnecessary things with you, the bare essentials are definitely enough:
- 2 bags (each one 40 liters) for the carrier
- 1 small bag for the steering-wheel
* one-men tent
* one pair of normal street shoes
* replacement sportswear + rain jacket
* sports bottles
* smartphone
* sewing kit
* sewing kit
* bike pump
* sleeping mat
* camping stove
* camping stove
4. You should plan your trip in a way, that you first reach a mountain phase up to the third
day. Beacause at my first trip ( Jakobsweg), I made the mistake that I already drove up the
pyrenees at the first day, and it was that horrible, that after I´ve crossed them, I just
wanted to take the next airplane and get back home.
Other tips will follow!
But you of course also need to take your helmet with you. ;-)
